Dupe Vibe
Dupe Vibe is, at its core, an adult toy. But to be listed on major e-commerce platforms, it had to appear as a discreet massager. The product attaches to a rechargeable electric toothbrush, making it compact, travel-friendly and intentionally subtle. My task was to make these qualities visible without losing the honesty of what the product actually is.
Together with the client, we built small scenarios showing where and how the device might be used. The visuals needed to be clear enough to signal its real purpose, yet designed within the boundaries of what commercial platforms accept. The direction stayed firmly inside a female-gaze approach, since the product is aimed at women and needed to feel confident, playful and safe.
For the set design, I used soft textures, everyday bathroom elements and a clean palette that hints at routine rather than secrecy. The aesthetic is intimate but not voyeuristic. It shows an object that belongs in a personal space without forcing the viewer into that space.
With the models, I focused on gestures, hands and facial expressions rather than explicit cues. The intention should be readable, but the imagery still had to function as a lifestyle campaign. The result is a visual language that treats an intimate device as part of a normal, modern wellness routine.
This project explored how a private object can be shown openly, without shame, and still remain commercially viable.
